The following provides detailed steps for configuring UEFI secure boot on Gigabyte mini motherboards, including importing the Youngzsoft certificate and setting secure boot options.
- Before starting to configure the BIOS, prepare the USB for Secure Boot.
- Enter BIOS.
- Go to Boot > CMS and set all options to UEFI only.
- Save the BIOS settings and restart the system.
- Re-enter BIOS.
- Go to Advanced > Network Stack and enable Network Stack and IPv4 PXE Support.
- Go to Security > Secure Boot Menu.
- Set Secure Boot Control to Enabled, and Secure Boot Mode to Custom.
- Under Image Execution Policy, set Fixed Media to Always Execute.
- Go to Key Management > Authorized Signature Database (DB) > Set new DB.
- When asked to "Update 'db' with Factory defaults?", select No. Choose Youngzsoft.cer from your USB. Select Key Certificate Blob in Select Key file type and confirm with Yes.
- Go to Boot and set UEFI: IP4 Realtek as Boot Option #1.
- Save the BIOS settings and restart.
